IE8 really sucks if this is going to be what MS expects the masses to be using then there is going to be a whole lot of rewriting of websites going on

Google chrome seems to have been created by the teletubbies!!!

I have to admit IE8 stayed on my computer all of 4 mins then i took it off again , i hated it ,

Have you seen how much memory it uses? Was reading an article about it and how IE8 used more memory than the operating system. Also said Firefox uses 27 (or 31) threads, IE7 50 odd and IE8 some 170 odd threads. IE8 is a resource HOG!! Microsoft has really out done itself with this one.

i have just been offered the beta 2 version of IE 8

should be good for a laugh, will try it later and let you know what i think.
going to install on a test rig not this pc.

been using it for a while. Its better than the beta one but without compatability some site return 404!!

ok well thats IE 8 beta 2.1 thats coming off this pc as soon as i finish this post.

slow my god is it slow, it checks every single page you try and open with microsoft database.
that and its default page setting is set to 125% zoom
does not read css very well i mean i am looking at this but the smiley box is sitting under it.

oh yes much more work needed, better then the first beta but still way off from my point of view.
its also eating 100meg memory

well back to opera for me then

New version of Chrome is out and thats where it will stay

Back to Firefox 3 and safari on the mac

to date...i am using google chrome and mozilla firefox... both of them had a good add ons and really fast! cool!!!

i only use ie for windows update nothing more.

if you think IE8 is bad you want to try IE9 on windows 7
yuk they have tried to make it look and feel more like a mix between opera and firefox

hahaha! same here davey...i used i8 for windows update only. nothing more..nothing less. lol

i heard about the opera...but i will admit.. i am happy on google chrome right now. and in terms of downloading a movie, game and music..i used mozilla since it has a numerous add-on application and can dl in just one click. really cool!

I like opera as it will download what your after even if the connection drops as soon as you go back online it continues the download.
has crap load of add ons as well.
plus it auto detects your net speed slow networks it trys not to decode so much before it displays the page.

good god sounds like i am selling opera to the world lol lol lol

hmmm...sounds interesting! lol

i will try it someday. our internet now is inconsistent due to the crisis (japan). up to this moment..we're still having 2-3hrs blackout everyday.
