ok thats onboard sound but onboard what ?

is this a laptop or a desktop , please let me know what the make and model is and what windows this computer is running.

if its not a known brand use everest and call up the motherboard make and model and let me know what that is.

there a TV card , sound, gfx card , card reader all in that list.

you seem to have the market for these :loll:
thats a jap model of all things.

I can only find it on nec in japan so will have to see what english drivers i can find for the hardware but i need a bit more info from everest.

i need to know what gfx card is install.
open everest, click the + next to display in the left hand list, then click GPU

the Ricoh RL5C576 is a card reader sold in japan but i wonder if it will accept a english ricoh muti card reader, try the Hp version on that.
unpack the driver fully and use device manager to load it.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/gener...R1002_UKEN

the tv card is going to be the sticky part here because from the first everest report it has a conexant tv chipset i will have to search what i can on that before i find something.

all jap version for that computer can be found here.
http://search.nec.jp/cgi-bin/search.cgi?...PC-VT9003D

it might be a case of download what you can from the jap site and see if it will load under a english O/S.

ok doing some digging on that tv card.
hauppauge make alot of those tv cards and they do use that conexant chipset on some of their range.
if you look at this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hauppauge_Computer_Works
towards the bottom you will see a list of what cards have what chipsets and host chipsets e.t.c

try using this driver set with that card.
http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/support/...ml?prod=21

if the drivers install you will then need to use a tuner program, i have always found prv to be crap.
blaze tv is much better you can use the trail version to see if it works with that driver set and that card.
