Removing stubborn programs from XP
#1
I have programs (Silverlight for example) that I can't remove using the Control Panel.

Is there another way to get in and delete these?

some programs have a built in remove or uninstall in the main install its self.
run the main program again and see if it gives you the option to remove it.

also some its find by clicking start , programs, and then the program you want highlight it and see if remove is listed there.

Have a read of the linked article, install the latest version of the tool and try it out.

Make sure you have a backup of your data AND create a Restore Point before starting.

Another option is to reinstall the program, reboot the PC and then use Add/remove programs.
