Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio?

Hi. I was trying to reinstall XP on my daughter's Dell desktop and reached a point where it is asking for the the disk for the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio. Specifically the file hdaudbus.sys.

I've tried downloading the file from my laptop and saving it onto a CD, but when I insert the CD into her computer then browse I can never find it. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Any suggestions?

the funny thing is this is a common problem with people that have installed SP3 for windows xp on a laptop that has HD sound.
SP3 has a bug in it and that stops the UAA from fully loading.

if possible can you please post the model number or service tag of that dell and i will take a look at its specs for you and see if i can find anything that may help.
