as i can see you have a mobile version of this chipset it would mean you have a laptop. what is the make and model of your laptop ?

this is listed at intel for you chipset GFX

my laptop is an hp dv4-1120us. came with a vista 64 bit operating system.

sorry dincha i don't understand your post are you looking for the video card driver for this laptop under windows vista 64bit ?

yes, the ones on hp's site i downloaded dont work.

i have a choice of two gfx cards in that machine at hp do you know if you have the nvidia or the intel GFX ?

if your unsure please use everest to find out.
download everest ultimate trial from here.

install and run that program
with iot running look in the left hand list for display, click the little + next to that then click GPU

let me know what everest tells you.

the details below are what i got from everest

ok the first thing you should do is make sure your main chipset driver set is up to date.
as its the intel " 4 " series this is the correct driver set for your chipset.

install that set of drivers and restart the laptop.
then go online and update direct x

once all that is done you have two drivers to choose from the update Hp ones can be found here.
