You will have to describe your webcam or better provide the number off the chip inside it. A photo would also be of assistance as this is a generic camera made by one company and rebadged.

Your operating system would also be of help but you will need to come back and download the drivers as we do not email them.

Thanks for ur reply,
Ok I will come back to this site and I will download from here only. I tried to open my webcam to see the number of chipset, but it is very hard and I couldn't opened it. Anyhow I have seen some numbers on my webcam cable, I think this will help in getting the software for which Iam looking.

Here is the number: E239136 AWM 2464 90degree centigrade 300v VW-1, I am feeling may be it is a cable number.
Iam not having any other cam to take the snap shot of it.
So, please help me.

If you can't take a photo of the camera, try describing it or have a look and see if it is listed here. (look at all the pages) http://www.kinstone.net/en/Product.asp?B...=PC-CAMERA

Thanks for giving me the list of webcam softwares.
My webcam model is exactly this:
It is in page 1,
Model No.: KS-1211
type: PC-CAMERA -
name: KS-1211
the only thing is, it is not kinstone, it is D-TECH which is made in china.
and I have downlaoded the software and installed it, but my webcam is not running and it is asking to install the software.
So, what is the problem? Pls help me.

if that is a 6 led cam try the ZS211 driver i have here.
http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=57

please use add remove programs and remove all drivers you have tryed before this one or you will not get
a clean install of the above driver

if that one fails to work you will have to remove the case and check that chip number.
if you remove the four x head screws it should come apart without too much trouble.
you will find the controller chip sitting in the middle of the board.
the wrighting will be very small but readable.

I have tried ZS211 driver, it is also not working.
I have opened my webcam, the number on chip is not so clear, here it is SE8119AKN 657-LF this number I have taken from a very small black part on board. There is a doubt in number SE8119AKN, in this 8 is not clear, it is looking also like 6 and "&". So u just make sure about the number as u have lot of experience.

on that chip nothing more. I exactly don't know whether it is a chip or other thing but I found the number on that.
On the main board some other numbers are there, but they are written with white print and they are not on chips but beside of some small parts. Here is they:
One is REV:01 and other side one more is: C15.
This is made in China.

the chip is about 1cm square and has sliver contacts all round it.

try the vimicro auto detect. the what this works is like this.
plug the cam in and let windows fail to load the driver.
download the cam detect from here.
http://www.davesdrivers.com/forum/showth...548&page=1

unpack that and install it.
run that and see if it calls up what chipset is used.

I have tried it but it is not working as u said. Some internet error is showing.
Anyhow I have visited on ebay and I have found exactly the same model webcam and the model number is: 6LED 300K USB 2.0 Night Light Web Cam Webcam Camera+Mic. But on the cam they did not mentioned any name but it is exactly the same. On my cam the name is D-TECH.

I have the exact same camera this guy has. Got it from ebay like a year ago and it came with a mini cd with drivers on it.

I lost the cd though....One thing I remember....with the drivers it came with there was a constant template applied to the video. I dont know how to explain it, but whenever you would open the amcap viewer there was a blue border with white rectangle inside which the video would come through.

I have tried soooo many freekn drivers and none of them work.... help please....

sorry no matter what way i search that chip number from your other post no drivers show up.
your best bet is to contact D-Tech direct and ask them about this cam.
