i am trying to update the bios of a older dell, its got the newest one from dell but its still missing some cpu codes that i know the chipset inside the machine can run.

ok as dell don't want to support this model no more i said ok well i get esupport to do it for me.

Just a question that's been on my mind for a long time,

At work we have a desktop computer and a laptop connected to the hub in the office, both the laptop and desktop use the same user profile from where ever it is stored because one day the account got locked out and we could log in on either.

There are various folders on the desktop that update with new content from time to time, i was wondering how the company update these folders as it is not done at store level.

Every store is the same but the conclusion i came to is that the profile is shared across all of the staff computers but if that was the case any user created shortcuts / documents on the desktop would also be shared but they are not.

Any ideas how they are doing it?

It randomly decides to power down, but it doesn't turn all the way off. It seems to go to sleep but you cannot wake it up whatsoever.

At first I thought it was the CPU overheating because the temps were high on it. So I reapplied new thermal compound. After that it seemed fine for maybe about a week if that and then it started to do it again.
I'm not sure why its acting the way it is, the cases air flow is pretty bad though but the CPU isn't anywhere near hot.

I have been trying for the last 5 hours to get the ban lifted.
talk about bang your head on a wall.
they want to send a code to my mobile ok enter mobile number sod all happens.
get fed up and try the other page of options that say use the pull down menu and select hotmail.
well thats all good and well but that won't select because your left looking at a page that say's
